Hi
is there any way to use usb devices in vmlite xp mode such as printers flash disks or any other usb devices cos in menu devices\usb devices show no available devices.

The USB support is very limited for now, you can only use USB storage device as a shared folder from the vm.

In other words, USB devices, such as webcams, USB printers, won't work inside the vm.

We are working on it, but will take quite some time to be ready.

and that was one of my main reasons I needed a virtual xp enviroment.. to use a very good legacy scanner and a printer, since there were absolutely no way of finding drivers for them on newer OS's (xp x64,vista,w7)

USB support will take a few more months at least. For now, you can only use USB as storage device through the shared folders.

I wanted to use my web cam in the usb and nothing that boring! work on it soon, oh! I will try vmware.
