and Im sorry to hear(read) that. on my own, is not much what I can do.
at this point with no information about the emulated hardware, perhaps the wise next step is to migrate de virtual machine to Virtual PC or VMWare. and I don´t want to have more than one Virtualization software with all the services an drivers they come with. All the machines I have are runing XPMode/VMLite. The main reasson of using VMLite was that VPC needed hardware VT
Are you sure there ins nothing more you can tell me?
I don´t think you have a DOS/W3.x driver.

The graphics card is VGA with VESA Extensions, it does not emulate a particular video card.

thre is not a generic VESA driver for win 3.11,,

emulating existing hardware (a common one) should be a solution.
not only for old win 3.11
I´ve mannaged to run Mac OS leopard (not in VMLite) but was really slow by the lack of proper video driver.

I wonder if virtualization technology could virtualize video hardware ?????instead of emulating it.
