Running "VMLite XP Mode" in Seven 32-bit, O.K. its his job. But what, if this Seven in running in a VMWare Workstation on a Server 2008 R2 Host???

What do you think - ist this possible ??? ...

read the last few items.

VMware 7 seems to support nested virtualization, so it's possible. But I don't recommend it. If you already have VMware, why not using VMware to virtualize an XP?

I'm just testing VMLite at this moment, I'm new to it.

Yes, VMware 7 seems to support nested virtualization.

And VML "is" running in a VMW Seven with no problem so far...

With VMW you only have the UNITY-Mode but no real integration, as in VML.

If you did try the nested virtualization, pls share some info about performance. I think it would be rather slow.

Certainly, but all what I can tell you till now, it's not slow, its pretty fast, to my surprise.

Klicking on a link (outside) of WordPad, Windows-Explorer or Internet-Explorer, it's there in a second with the green border.
