Hi I´m new here.

First thanks for the VM, it works very good. The best Feature is that the mouse works perfectly in VirtualBox without using the Host-Key.

I have two questions:

1. Under what license is the Android v4 VM?

2. I´m using VirtualBox to test the VM. When I close the VM and save the status and restarts it with this status, the VM shows a loadscreen. After this I can use the VM without problems. How can I disable this loadscreen?
Here a screenshot of my problem.

Thanks for your Help and sorry for my english (I´m from germany )

vm to work on AMD cpu, and on PCs w/o hardware virtualization:

some days ago I told you that the vm runs well on the dell e6500, but does not boot on the dell D505. You were suggesting that this may be due to the comparatively old hardware.

I feel that this may not be the truth: I took the ICS standard build of android-x86.org, more precisely, the eeepc-RC1 (feb 27, 2012) -> boots on the D505, has however no network -> added eth0 manually via netcfg -> network works well -> browser works also well, i.e. loads webpages -> that appears to indicate that ICS can indeed be run on rather old hardware, such as the dell D505.

Nothing is without problems: cannot run the market (included in the standard build) because I cannot force it to use eth0 (always looks for wifi...). Any suggestions how to solve this problem?

yes, you are right. We also made ICS to work on old PCs, so it's just some bugs.

I noted about the market problem, working hard to resolve it.

The new build will take some time to release, as we wanted our vnc server to work well on it.

We will release a vnc server for the real Android device on google play soon.

Hi, could you please tell me how to add eth0 maunally ? Is it something that should be typed in the terminal ? Thanks in advance.

I'm another one of those people looking forward to the AMD compatible release of this great vmlite virtual machine, when it's ready.
Good luck with the vnc server.
